UHC2030 joint vision progress
Burundi joined IHP+ in 2007. The National Health Policy was developed for 2016-2025. Burundi signed a Country Compact in December 2012. A new national health development plan (PNDS) is being prepared. An IHP+ Country Grant has been primarily used for supporting planning, monitoring and evaluation. Burundi participated in the 2nd and 3rd round of monitoring progress against compact commitments by IHP+Results. IHP+ membership was transferred to UHC2030 in 2016.
