Cambodia joined IHP+ in 2007. A National Health Strategic Plan was developed for 2008-2015. In 2006, the Government and seven bi- and multilateral development partners signed a Joint Partnership Arrangement, which is considered the Cambodia country compact. A mid-term review of the National Health Strategic Plan took place in 2011. An IHP+ Country Grant has primarily been used to support the planning and evaluation processes of the Strategic Plan, strengthen CSO engagement and support the Technical Working Group for Health. Cambodia participated in the 5th IHP+ monitoring round which tracked progress on the implementation of eight practices for effective development cooperation (EDC) IHP+ membership was transferred to UHC2030 in 2016.
