UHC2030 joint vision progress
Chad joined IHP+ in 2011. The Ministry of Health, Ministry of International Cooperation, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Decentralization, Ministry of Public Affairs and 13 development partners signed a first partnership agreement - called a pre-compact - in November 2011. The IHP+ Country Grant has primarily been used to support the development of the new health sector plan and to improve coordination mechanisms. The country compact was signed in February 2014. Chad participated in the 5th IHP+ monitoring round which tracked progress on the implementation of eight practices for effective development cooperation (EDC) IHP+ membership was transferred to UHC2030 in 2016.
